You Say Black Seadevil, I Say Deep-Sea Anglerfish

What a strange deep water creature the Black Seadevil, otherwise known as the deep-water Anglerfish. This widely known, but rarely seen oddity of the oceans was captured on film and is shared below.

Do not miss this amazing video.

Video: The Anglerfish: The Original approach to deep sea fishing

This is extremely rare deep ocean video footage indeed. It is awe inspiring to watch.

The title is a great play on words, because the Black Seadevil is truly a deep water creature that lives at extreme depths, where there is little is any light at all. If you were swimming at these depths, (shudder the thought), you would not be able to see at all. There is not enough light. The rare anglerfish, (Sea Devil) uses a light bulb at the end of a rod that extends from its upper jaw. The little light bulb attracts unwary fish, and when they get too close to the scary teeth that the Black Sea devil sports in its mouth, it is already too late.
