Snook fishing in Florida is one of the most popular angling experiences each year. Learn about the best lures to use to catch these elusive saltwater game fish. One of my favorite lures of all time is the D.O.A. 1/2 ounce shrimp with the gold fleck. It is does the trick on many different species of saltwater gamefish, and is the one lure that I make sure is always in my tackle box. You can fish it any time, day or night. To the presentation extremely natural, make sure to use a loop knot when tying to your leader. Cast out and slowly retrieve while gently bouncing it along the bottom.
