Fishing in and around the Miami, Florida area can be fantastic. One of the best ways to give yourself the edge in catching your target fish species is to be able to find the hot spots where they will most likely be located. Just fishing at random may work every now and then, but there is nothing like pulling up to some hot GPS coordinates and finding the fish ready to eat.

Fishing in the State of Florida is excellent most anytime of the year. But Marathon, FL Keys fishing is some of the best in the state. Read along to find some of the best reefs, wrecks and hot spots in this area. With the Atlantic Ocean right off from the dock, it is easy and quick to get to many different fishing grounds up and down the FL Keys off of Marathon.
Saltwater Fishing for Beginners
The beginning fisherman will have many questions about the type of fishing they would like to attempt. For those people who have little or no experience, it can seem like a daunting task, but do not let that stop you from learning many of the techniques that will take you from a beginner to a more seasoned fisherman.
Saltwater fishing requires fishing tackle and gear that is designed for use in salt water. The corrosion effects are much higher than for equipment used in freshwater environments. Without sounding too 'over-the-top' about needing a whole lot of equipment, some specific gear is necessary. The type of fishing you strive to do will determine the type of fishing gear you will need.
Many aspiring fishermen learn how to catch fish by chartering a fishing guide or joining a group fishing on larger charter boats. This can be a great way for you to take out the family for a day on the water. It is also a good way for you to determine which type of saltwater fishing you would like to 'gear up' for before you start buying a lot of different fishing rods, fishing lures and other tackle.

Just Go Fishing
This blog is dedicated to the great saltwater fishing that is available in many locales around the world. While freshwater hot spots and other non saltwater information and posts may be included, we will concentrate on the world of saltwater fishing and present some unique imagery and videos, as well some excellent how-to tips on fishing techniques.
Fishing has to be one of the best and most popular activities for many a sportsman. It can also serve as a universal language between two or more persons who do not necessarily see eye to eye on everything, but can better communicate and enjoy ones company while fishing.
There is nothing quite like feeling the 'Big Hit' when you target a particular fish species. While you can put years of well earned expertise into your fishing techniques to catch your target species, sometimes it comes down to luck.
Read along and pick up some GPS numbers to a few fishing hot spots, or maybe just brush up on some beginning to advanced fish catching techniques.
